‘Hero’ cleaner’s guide to clean the whole kitchen fast

A cleaner’s simple guide to clean your whole kitchen with baking soda, vinegar, dish soap and lemons has wowed fans due to its easy and how quick it is. Caroline, who posts guides on how to organise your household on her account @neat.caroline, has explained her easy way to clean a kitchen by using simple household ingredients.

Caroline, a cleaning expert from New York, has explained her secrets for cleaning a kitchen quickly and professionally. The cleaning expert’s advice was to use eco-friendly products that will likely already be in your kitchen or can be purchased extremely cheaply at the supermarket.

In her TikTok video, she first explained her best hack for cleaning a kitchen sink. She said: “Sprinkle the sink with baking soda, apply some dish soap to a damp sponge and then scrub the sink down” and then proceeded to rinse down her sink.

For countertops, Caroline said to spray down surfaces with a homemade all-purpose cleaner. Her advice was to use two cups of water plus one tablespoon of dish soap and put it in a spray bottle, and then she said: “wipe it down with a rag.”

The cleaning expert also advised how to clean a stovetop. She said: “Spray down with equal parts vinegar and water, then wipe clean with a microfiber cleaning cloth.”

Caroline added that you can also use rubbing alcohol and water on your stovetop as well for easy cleaning.

She then moved to the inside of an oven, which can often be difficult to clean. Caroline said: “Sprinkle the base with baking soda, then squeeze half a lemon on top.”

The cleaner then explained to let both the lemon juice and baking soda sit for ten minutes, before scrubbing it with a non-scratch sponge and then wiping it clean with a damp rag.

Caroline showcased her clean oven by saying “ta-da!” and then moved on to show how to clean the inside of a fridge.

She said explained she had a simple cleaning formula she had put in a spray bottle. Caroline said: “Spray down shelves with equal parts vinegar and water and wipe clean with a rag.

Caroline then used the mixture to wipe the outside of her microwave, and then explained how she cleaned the inside. She got a jug, placed it in the microwave and said: “Microwave half a cup of water with half a lemon for three minutes.”

The cleaner then advised to let the jug sit in the microwave for two minutes after it was done, and then you can easily wipe down the microwave with a rag.

Caroline finished her video showcasing her now sparkling kitchen as well as some footage of her playing with her cat. People in the TikTok video comment section thanked Caroline for her advice.
