An apparent infestation of bed bugs in swanky Las Vegas hotels means staying on the Strip might be a gamble in more ways than one.

According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, guests have posted pictures of their wounds after some of the more expensive hotels in Sin City have fallen victim to bed bugs.

The outlet said seven of the biggest names on the Strip have reported infestations to local health officials in the last 18 months and experts fear the critters are guaranteed to return.

World Series of Poker players staying in Vegas reported this summer they had unwanted bed partners during their stays.

Circus Circus reported two infestations within six months last year, according to 8 News Now. The hotel is finishing a major three-year renovation.

Caesar’s Palace, Planet Hollywood, Palazzo, Tropicana, MGM Grand and Sahara are the other bed-bug problem hotels, according to the Daily Mail.

“We got thousands of people coming into Vegas every day, so bed bugs catch a ride with somebody. They jump off into a hotel,” said Bobby James of Top Line Pest Control, via the Daily Mail.. “Hotels don’t come with bed bugs in them. People bring them, so when they put luggage on the bed, we don’t know where they came from.”
