GLAMOUR’s fashion team are serious H&M stans. From legendary designer collaborations to inclusive sizing and a dreamy interiors range… we want it all. But right now, H&M swimwear is the section that has us in chokehold.
H&M women’s swimwear for summer 2023 is seriously one of the best collections we’ve seen on the high street. (Remember, we are professionals when it comes to shopping… scrolling ‘new in’ is actually our job). So, whether you’re devoted to a one-piece swimsuit or are a total bikini fan, there are more than enough options to ensure your beach-side (or park- or pool-side) wardrobe will look *flames.*
Most pieces are available in sizes 4-22 (we love to see it!) and the designs hit the sweet spot of being on-trend enough for 2023, but not so specific you’ll bore of them after one summer season. If you’re heading on holiday with your swimwear (we’re just a little bit jealous), make sure you rinse everything with clean water, to wash out any chlorine, SPF or salt water, immediately after use. That will prolong its life until next year – and beyond – and make any piece of swimwear a sustainable buy.
Cottagecore goes to the beach with this pretty ditsy-floral set, that’s printed with tiny blue flowers and edged with ruffles. The bikini bottoms and triangle top have tie-sides to get your perfect fit.
We called cobalt blue the colour of spring / summer 2023 so we are definitely keen on this set. With a subtle ribbed detail the bandeau bikini top has removable inserts while the cut of the high leg bikini bottoms works for every body.
The sporty vibes of this set are definitely retro-inspired. Slip on a bucket hat and a pair of Adidas Sambas when you’re headed to the bar to complete the look.
Prints and patterns are a winner for holiday-wear, but sometimes overly bright designs look best in truly tropical destinations. If your beach-break is more stay-cay than va-cay, this subtle blue and white set (with a choice of bandeau bikini top or triangle bikini top to go with the Brazilian bikini bottoms) is ideal.
Travel light by taking one complete set on hols to give you multiple options. The one-shoulder bandeau top is ultra-glam and goes with both the Brazilian bikini bottoms and tanga-tie bikini bottoms. There’s a triangle top too and if you take these four pieces, you’ll have eight swimwear outfits to mix and match.
Balconette bras are one of our absolute favourite styles for giving your breasts a little uplift – and some separation – with hidden underwires and light padding. We are definitely keen to have that support beach-side too, please, so are adding this balconette bikini top to our basket. There are also detachable, adjustable straps and you can find the matching bikini bottoms here, too.
Searching for boy short bikini bottoms? H&M have them too with these shortie bikini bottoms in a glorious orange shade that definitely remind us of summer (and come in sizes UK4-22.)
If you’re searching for something with more coverage than your average swimsuit – or just want to cosplay as a Bond Girl / Scuba Dive Barbie – this long-sleeve one-piece is essential underwater kit (we’d also wear it as a body with jeans… just saying…)
As well as our edit of the best H&M swimwear to shop for 2023, we’ve also put together guides to the best bikinis, the coolest one-pieces, the ultimate swimwear brands to know and our favourite sustainable swimwear.
