Holly Hagan shows off her five year weight loss transformation

Holly Hagan has revealed the stress of her upcoming wedding day has caused her to miss her period.

The 29-year-old former Geordie Shore star is set to tie the knot to footballer fiancé Jacob Blyth, after previously pulling the plug on their wedding plans last year.

The pair were forced to postpone their big day twice due to coronavirus restrictions impacting weddings.

But while Holly and Jacob’s day is set to go ahead this year, it hasn’t stopped the reality star from feeling stressed in the lead up.

Taking to her Instagram Story yesterday (May 27), Holly opened up on the “crazy” effects planning the day has caused on her body.

The star shared a screenshot of the Clearblue pregnancy app, which indicted she is currently on day 42 of her menstrual cycle – but is yet to have a period.

Alongside the photo, Holly explained: “Wedding stress is no joke. The effects stress has had on my body is crazy.

“I’ve had three totally on time periods and this one was supposed to be perfectly timed the week before we came away. Now it’s 12-14 days late (no, I’m not pregnant).”

Now, the Newcastle star may have to “risk” being on her period on her wedding day.

She added: ”Now I’m like hmm so I start taking period delay tablets and risk bloating plus having to remember to take them 3x per day and if I don’t I may come on…

Holly now has a decision to make

“Or risk coming on on my wedding day and trust me I can’t even wee in my dress never mind change a tampon.”

Holly is currently in Ibiza as she prepares to tie the knot to partner Jacob, who proposed in June 2019.

It’s certainly a long time coming for the pair after postponing not once but twice due to coronavirus restrictions impacting weddings.

Meanwhile, in a previous Q&A on her Instagram Story, the star confessed she had been looking forwarding to being the first Geordie Shore cast member to tie the knot.

Holly will be the first Geordie OG to walk down the aisle

She shared: “When I first got engaged, I was so buzzing to be the first married.

“I felt it was so ironic from being the most hated, the fat s**g who apparently [no one] was going to ever want to marry.

“It made happy thinking wow f**k you all, who’s laughing now? But honestly my personal growth over the past two years, it’s honestly not that important to me now.”

Holly, who rose to fame on MTV reality series Geordie Shore, began dating sportsman Jacob in 2017.
