Holly Willoughby urged to swap shows as This Morning ‘hangs in the balance’

PR expert Andy Barr, chief executive of 10 Yetis Digital, has addressed whether Holly might have to leave This Morning and front a new ITV show.

“I don’t think ITV will be too scared about her potentially leaving. Holly really has little choice but to stick with ITV if she wants to keep her profile high in the UK,” he told Daily Star.

He claimed: “”The BBC won’t want to hire her whilst everything is still up in the air and Channel 4 won’t have the budget.”

ITV has been contacted for comment by Express.co.uk.

An exhausted-looking Phillip said in a recent BBC interview with journalist Amol Rajan he felt like his career was “over”.

It is understood Holly will not address Phillip publicly again in the wake of his ITV exit.

A replacement for Phillip is yet to be announced by ITV bosses but Craig Doyle and Josie Gibson stepped in to present alongside Holly last week.

This Morning airs on weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITVX.
