There are numerous puzzles to solve in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. They come in all sorts of varieties, but a lot of them revolve around abilities you master throughout your journey. That’s especially true of several quests you encounter around the Thyphlo Ruins area. They tend to be very short but require you to think outside the box. Here is our guide telling you how to complete The Corridor Between Two Dragons side quest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom – how to complete The Corridor Between Two Dragons side quest

When you decide to get the Dusk Claymore, you will have to complete several side quests that together allow you to clear the Investigate the Thyphlo Ruins side adventure. To complete The Corridor Between Two Dragons side quest, use the Vow of Yunobo in the appropriate area near the west side of the ruins.

As you can imagine, accomplishing this requires you to first clear the Fire Temple, which you do while working through the main campaign.

Once you acquire the Vow of Yunobo, visit the Thyphlo Ruins north of the Great Hyrule Forest. You can fast travel to the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower, if you have activated it. Once you arrive, head down that building’s front steps and to the left to find Kazul. He is a researcher trying to make sense of the writing in the ruins.

Kazul stands near one or more stone tablets that look like tombstones. They line a wall, provided you have cleared the temples they represent. The second of the four stones corresponds to the Fire Temple. Investigate it to read some text and activate The Corridor Between Two Dragons side quest. By the time I tended to this side quest, I had already cleared all four of the main temples. However, you can visit the ruins and complete the quest much earlier in your own journey.

The text on the stone tablet instructs you to display the power of the Sage of Fire ‘to blaze through the space between two dragons, from head to tail.’ This is a useful clue. Kazul also mentions seeing something that may be relevant when he first arrived at the ruins. However, he doesn’t specify the direction from which he approached. I didn’t find that tip especially helpful.

To solve the puzzle and complete the side quest, head toward the western side of the island. There, you’ll discover a narrow, rather short corridor, with two dragon heads on its eastern end. See a map of its precise location in the above screenshot. Stand just in front of the two dragon head statues and use the Vow of Yunobo to launch your spectral sage friend. He burns a path along the corridor, which causes a ledge to rise behind you.

Check the under side of that ledge to find a treasure chest. Open the chest to obtain three Ruby materials. This also allows you to complete The Corridor Between Two Dragons side quest. No further action is necessary.
