How to easily beat Rick the Door Technician in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is nothing without its challenging enemies. From different bounty hunters to various legendary enemies, you will be pushed over the limit often in the game. However, the one bad guy that takes the cake over the main antagonist — is Rick the Door Technician. This stormtrooper can be found on the Nova Garon’s Imperial base and is rather hard. For one reason or another, this stormtrooper is ready to take on any Jedi. He can be a pain for many players. While there are tons of creative ways beat him — thanks to some Redditers, you still may lose even if you use the right stance setup. However, we have found an easier to take on this mighty force of the Empire.

When you reach him on the Imperial Base, Nova Garon, he’ll be at the end of a long corridor. Normally, this is where you’d fight him, but in this case, run up to him but don’t attack him. He will start to attack you the closer you get, so when that happens Force Dash if you have it, or jump away from him.

After you get past him, reach the elevator that’s behind him and Force Pull him into the elevator with you. When you do this he’ll try to fight you, all you need to do is block one attack, and he may go through the elevator platform. If this doesn’t happen for you, go back down and try again.

After you’ve reached the top of the elevator, go back down. When you hit the bottom,  the stormtrooper will have his back to you. You’ll be able to one shot in from behind with your lightsaber.

And with that, you have defeated the biggest threat to the Rebellion: Rick the Door Technician.
