Let’s get ready to rumble!
Japan is the boxing destination today as Gennady Golovkin prepares to take on Ryota Murata, as he looks to set up his showdown with rival Canelo Alvarez.
Golovkin could well face Alvarez in September should they both come through their upcoming fights, with Alvarez facing Dmitry Bivol on May 7.
But first up, it’s Golovkin, defending his IBF and IBO belts against WBA ‘super’ champion Murata.
But when exactly is the fight, and how can boxing fans watch all the action in the UK?
What time is Golovkin v Murata?
The showdown is taking place tonight – April 9 – at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan.
The main televised undercard kicks off from 11am BST, with ring walks expected at around 2.10pm.
As ever, those times are subject to change, depending on the length of the undercard bouts.
How to watch Golovkin v Murata in the UK
The fight is being broadcast live via streaming service DAZN, which you can access with a £7.99 monthly subscription.
The service can be viewed on smart TVs in addition to other devices such as computers, mobiles, gaming consoles and tablets.
