In his latest salvo against anti-vaxxers, shock jock Howard Stern is calling on hospitals to deny help to patients who refuse to get the coronavirus vaccine.

“If it was up to me, anyone unvaccinated would not be admitted to a hospital. At this point, they have been given plenty of opportunity to get the vaccine,” he said on his Sirius XM radio show this week, per Variety .

“[Anti-vaxxers] have been told you will die if you get the vaccine. Some of you will live, but most of you will die. [These people] don’t trust our government. They think that there’s some conspiracy to turn them into a magnet or something like this,” Stern said. “They think they are going to become magnetized if they take the vaccine. I’ve taken this vaccine three times, and the worst side effect is for a day, I had a little bit of a headache.”

But Stern went on to tell listeners that there isn’t a conspiracy afoot.

“Americans don’t want to create a vaccine that’s going to turn you into a robot or magnetize you. There’s enough Americans now that have taken it. Look at us as a sampling where nothing has happened to us. It’s time for you to get it. Now, if you don’t get it, in my America, all hospitals would be closed to you. You’re going to go home and die. That is what you should get. Absolutely.”

Many Canadians are in favour of harsh punishments for the unvaccinated , with 37% saying in a new poll it would be acceptable to deny them publicly-funded health care — and 27% that it would be OK to go as far as a short jail sentence.

“A majority of Canadians have little sympathy for the unvaccinated,” said John Wright, executive vice-president of Maru Public Opinion, which conducted the poll on Jan. 14 and 15.

Stern has been arguing to make vaccines mandatory since last year, telling listeners he has “no time for idiots.”

“We don’t want you … stay home, die there with your COVID,” he said on his radio show last September. “Don’t take the cure, but don’t clog up our hospitals with your COVID when you finally get it. Stay home, don’t bother with science, it’s too late. Go f— yourself, we just don’t have time for you.”

Stern continued, “When are we gonna stop putting up with the idiots in this country and just say it’s mandatory to get vaccinated? F— ’em. F— their freedom. I want my freedom to live. I want to get out of the house already. I want to go next door and play chess. I want to go take some pictures. This is bull—.”

He said vaccine hesitation existed because “we have it so good in this country, people forgot about disease.”

Stern has also publicly feuded with vaccine hesitant celebrities, including Joe Rogan and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Just last week, Stern also hit out at unvaccinated tennis star Novak Djokovic calling him a “f—ing a–hole.”

“They should throw him right the f— out of tennis,” Stern raged. “What a dummy. Just a big, dumb tennis player.”
