Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and the cast of their latest Malayalam film Hridayam have started the year on a high note. The film is one of the few to have hit theatres in the midst of the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to reports, Hridayam has earned approximately ₹36 crores at the box office worldwide. In terms of global box office, it has thus surpassed Pranav Mohanlal’s 2018 debut film Aadhi.

The film will now aim for a box office total of ₹25 crores. The film’s positive reception demonstrated that the figure is very much within reach. That would also make it Pranav’s highest-grossing film in India after Aadhi.
