Pranav Mohanlal is the Hridayam’s star, and he walks with caution as he bears a complete nostalgia piece on his shoulders. Hridayam provides the protagonist very little depth for a picture about a person’s journey, and the screenplay evokes the shadows of a guy out of touch with himself, not in control of his own acts, and Pranav’s relative newness as an actor adds a degree of empathy to the hero’s journey.
