Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has scrapped the policy to implement the ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ exam option in front of applicants for the posts of Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv. The commission cites the ‘technical module not properly working due to heavy rush’ as a reason to withdraw its previous notice.
“The Commission has decided to issue admit cards to all the candidates who have applied for the above said posts (Patwari, Canal Patwari, and Gram Sachiv) as due to technical reasons module for obtaining ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ option is not working properly due to heavy rush,” the commission said releasing a public notice.
Earlier, HSSC asked the applicants of opting for a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ option before appearing in the combined examination scheduled from December 26 to 28, 2021. The option to choose was supposed to remain active from November 11 to 15, 2021. However, the process was delayed and the link activated on November 12.
Amid this, applicants faced difficulties accessing the login option and filling in their choices. After the activation, due to a large number of applicants for HSSC Patwari, Gram Sachiv, and Canal Patwari, these pages observed a heavy rush and resulted in a website crash. This left the candidates restless as the closing date was nearing.
