Critically acclaimed actress Huma Qureshi ruled the year with her releases on multiple platforms. Among others, it was the Netflix original Monica O My Darling for which she bagged praises from the critics as well as the audience. It’s been more than a month since the film made its debut on the streaming giant. While the audience is still praising it, Huma has treated fans with an unseen shot, which did not make it to the final cut.

On Tuesday, the talented actress took to her verified social media handle and shared a video. In it, she can be seen dancing like a child to one of the tracks of Monica O My Darling, titled ‘Yeh Ek Zindagi’. Qureshi opted for a casual look with a black-and-white co-ord set paired up with a brown colour jacket.

Instagramming the video post, the Maharani actress wrote, “My original home grown dance moves,” in the caption followed by a couple of laughing emoticons. She further added, “If only @vasanbala saw this before he cast me in #MonicaOMyDarling.”

Reacting to the video, Huma’s brother and actor Saqib Saleem dropped a witty comment as he wrote, “Didi ko mata chadh gayi hai (sister has lost her mind). Meanwhile, actor Abhilash Thapliyal quipped, “Being so happy is not allowed.. Otherwise, foreign police will arrest you.” Simultaneously, a bunch of celebs including Vaani Kapoor, Amit Sial, Preity Zinta, and Deepshikha Deshmukh called it “cute”.

For the unversed, directed by Vasan Bala, Monica O My Darling was released worldwide on Netflix on November 11. Besides Huma, the murder-thriller also featured Rajkummar Rao and Radhika Apte in the lead.

Coming to the professional front, Huma was last seen in Double XL, co-starring Sonakshi Sinha. The 36-year-old actress has a bunch of projects scheduled to release next year including Pooja Meri Jaan. Produced under the banner of Maddock Films, it will also star Mrunal Thakur.
