Hyundai launches 2023 Aura facelift starting at Rs 6.29 lakh. Here are all the details

After Grandi10 Nios, India’s second largest car company, Hyundai Motor India, on Monday launched an updated version of its compact sedan Aura. The 2023 Hyundai Aura facelift has been launched at a starting price of Rs 6.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The top variant of the car comes at Rs 8.57 lakh. The company said it is offering the car with over 30 safety features including four airbags as standard fitment and 6 airbags as an option.

The new Aura comes with petrol and CNG trims. However, the company has discontinued the diesel variants in the new range.

The Hyundai Aura would compete with Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Tata Tigor in the segment.

The 2023 Aura can be booked for a token amount of Rs 11,000. The compact sedan is available in five variants.

Hyundai has redesigned the front of Aura. It now has a new painted black radiator grille and fresh LED DRLs on the front bumper. The front bumper has also got a design update. The back of the car remains, more or less, same to the outgoing version.

The company has introduced a new Starry Night shade that replaces the Vintage Brown option of the outgoing model. The car will now be offered in six monotone colour options — Polar White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night (new), Teal Blue and Fiery Red.

On the inside, the cabin layout of the car remains the same, except the new upholstery for the seats, new lighting for the footwell area and a revised instrument cluster. The instrument cluster now has a 3.5-inch speedometer with a new MID.

In terms of safety, the facelift version has six airbags (four standard), tyre pressure monitoring system (highline), electronic stability control), vehicle stability management, hill start assist control, burglar alarm and automatic headlamps.
