Hyundai Alcazar Prestige Executive which comes in six variants, including Prestige, Prestige (O), Platinum, Platinum (O), Signature and Signature (O) has its Petrol MT (7-seater) available at Rs 15,89,400, Diesel MT (6 and 7-seater) at Rs 16,30,300 and Diesel AT (7-seater) at Rs 17,77,300.
The new model, however, only comes with an 8-inch touchscreen information display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, replacing the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
In addition, the new Prestige Executive variant just gets one mic, whereas the Prestige variant comes equipped with two mics. Other features on the new Prestige Executive base variant of the Alcazar SUV will receive a four speaker sound system, two tweeters and voice commands.
Apart from the bigger touchscreen system, the Alcazar lacks telematics features and an electroplated IRVM. It gets a new manually-dimmable IRVM at driver’s discretion. Moreover, the Prestige Executive variant doesn’t get a burglar alarm and chrome-finished door handles.
Under the hood, the new Alcazar Prestige Executive variant is powered by a 2.0-litre MPi engine that cranks out 158 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 191 Nm at 4,500 rpm. The engine is mated with a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque convertor automatic transmission.
On the other hand, the 1.5-litre turbo-diesel CRDi engine produces 113 bhp at4,000 rpm and 250 Nm at1,500 rpm. A 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox are on offer.
