Hyundai Verna Booking Open: Hyundai Motor India Ltd has released the first teasers for its 2023 model of its popular mid-sized sedan – Hyundai Verna – in India. Along with this, the South Korean automotive giant has also commenced bookings for Hyundai Verna 2023 model.
Interested customers can book the all-new Verna at company dealerships across the country by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000.

Ahead of the official launch, the company has also revealed some features of the upcoming sedan. According to the automaker, the new model will be offered with four powertrain options.
The company also said the model would feature a 1.5 Turbo GDi petrol engine mated with six-speed manual transmission (6MT) and seven-speed dual clutch transmission (7DCT). These powertrains are geared to churn out maximum power and torque performance.

It will also be available with 1.5 l MPi Petrol engine that comes with 6-speed Manual Transmission (6MT) and Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), the company added.
However, Hyundai did not share details about the diesel variant in the upcoming model.
“With a strong cult following across diverse geographies of India, Verna has a resilient legacy of 16 years, garnering over 4.6 lakh customers. The all-new Hyundai Verna is set to enthral customers with superior performance and deliver a thrilling driving experience like never before,” Hyundai Motor India Chief Operating Officer Tarun Garg said.
Recently, the automaker had also launched the 2023 facelift of Hyundai AURA sedan at an introductory price of Rs 6,29,600 in India. The car is available in six Monotone Colour Options — Polar White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night, Teal Blue and Fiery Red.
The new Hyundai AURA comes equipped with three future-ready powertrain options that are RDE (Real Driving Emissions) compliant and E20 Fuel Ready — 1.2 L Kappa Petrol with 5 Speed Manual transmission, 1.2 L Kappa Petrol Smart Auto AMT, 1.2 L Bi-Fuel (Petrol with CNG) with 5 Speed Manual transmission.
