Despite the texture being quite rough and the flavour being quite strong, the effect of drinking such a healthy smoothie at that time in the afternoon was very beneficial.
I immediately felt more awake and I did experience the “boost” that Meghan was talking about.
Sometimes after a coffee, it can take a while for the caffeine to really sink in, but the fresh fruit, spices and vegetables combined together in the smoothie made me feel less sluggish.
