While I can’t put my finger on exactly when I started opting exclusively for high-waisted swimwear (or, of course, one-pieces), I can tell you I’m glad the trend has lasted and is very much here to stay. After all, though my style could hardly be called modest, I find comfort in those extra few inches of material and have grown quite emotionally accustomed to them when hitting the beach.
