What is going on with Christina Aguilera‘s eyeliner? Something magical, that’s what! The musician hit the red carpet for the 2023 GLAAD Awards wearing sparkly black eyeliner that matched her super glam bombshell gown.
Aguilera, who was honored with the Advocate for Change award at the ceremony, looked every inch the icon in a low-cut black strapless sequined gown with equally opulent, oversize opera gloves. Her dress, layers of diamond necklaces, and drop earrings weren’t the only thing glimmering on the carpet — so was her eyeliner, which glammed up the classic black cat-eye with artfully placed black gemstones in an exaggerated wing shape. They’re so perfectly arranged, they almost look like polka dots drawn on her lids, but upon closer examination, nope! They’re gems. Whoever applied this sweep of sparkles deserves a promotion.
Aguilera and her glam team let the liner be the centerpiece of her makeup, pairing it with perfectly arched brows, glossy burgundy lips, and a set of spiky, fluttery lashes. Long, straight platinum blonde hair worn parted in the middle and twisted away from her face on one side gave the liner even more space to sparkle. We have to know, though — what was going on, mani-wise, under those major gloves?
