I thought Vanessa Hudgens was Kim Kardashian for a second when I saw this look

There are a million ways to be beautiful, but we’d be kidding ourselves if we didn’t say that we’ve witnessed the Kardashification of beauty standards. Vanessa Hudgens is the latest example of this.

While celebrities have distinct looks that make them instantly recognisable, every now and then, the Kardashian influence comes through loud and clear — intentional or not — sometimes so strongly that we have to do a double take.

Hudgens posted a few photos of the beauty look she wore to an event for Dead Hot, her new Tubi movie about witchcraft. And it looks like makeup artist Hung Vanngo and hair stylist Danielle Priano performed a little witchcraft of their own because Hudgens bears an undeniable resemblance to Kim Kardashian in these pictures. (At the very least, she looks like she could be a long-lost member of the Kardashian-Jenner family.)

Perhaps it’s that Vanessa Hudgens’s look includes so many elements that are signature Kim Kardashian looks, like over-lined brownish-pink lips, dramatic yet neutral-toned eyes with lush false lashes, gorgeously contoured cheeks, and a slick, dark, long ponytail.

This isn’t the first time a celebrity unexpectedly turned into a Karashian lookalike. Remember that time Charlotte Tilbury and Chris Appleton transformed Drew Barrymore with makeup and hair extensions, the result being an uncannily Khloé-esque resemblance?

We’re not saying Hudgens’s goal was to look like a Kardashian — but her glam squad succeeded nonetheless.
