Princess Ibini will hope to celebrate her 100th A-League Women match in style when Sydney FC take on Western United in a top-of-the-table clash.

Ibini, 22, has spent her career at Sydney FC, debuting at 15 after training with the club since she turned 12.

The fringe Matildas forward originally would have celebrated before a home crowd at Leichhardt Oval but because of a fixture switch Wednesday’s game will be held in Melbourne at United’s home ground, City Vista Reserve.

“It’s been an amazing journey to get to the hundred games, I’m very excited about it,” Ibini told Sydney FC’s website.

“Training here since I was 12 has been an amazing experience and I probably wouldn’t be here without all the coaches I’ve had over the years to help me get to where I am.

“Honestly, I never would have thought I’d get to 100 games but it’s amazing and 15-year-old me would be very proud of herself to see that she’s been able to play 100 games for Sydney FC in the club that she’s always wanted to play for.”

Sydney are top of the table ahead of United on goal difference, but the ALW newcomers have a game in hand.

The Sky Blues are due to face a familiar face on Wednesday evening.

Former Sydney star and Matildas midfielder Chloe Logarzo will face the Sky Blues for the first time since she left the club for a move to England in 2020.

Sydney, meanwhile, have bolstered their attack after Remy Siemsen’s departure to Europe.

Former Newcastle and Western Sydney winger Teigan Collister and American striker Rola Badawiya have signed until the end of the season.

Collister is yet to join Sydney’s squad but Badawiya could debut off the bench on Wednesday.

“I don’t think it has hit me how big this game is on Wednesday,” Badawiya said in a statement.

“It’s not only my first game with Sydney FC, but it’s a massive game for the whole club.”

Former Victory captain and three-time Matilda Angie Beard could debut for United after signing a two-year deal this week.
