CISCE ICSE Chemistry Paper 2021: Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has conducted the ICSE Chemistry exam today, on December 13. The one-hour duration Science paper 2 is reportedly held successfully from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the designated centres across the country. Based on the analysis, the paper was moderate in difficulty level. Students who appear in the ICSE Chemistry paper now can check the analysis, unofficial answer key of the Chemistry paper below. Students are also facilitated with educators’ opinions about the examination.
Based on the feedback provided by the students, the overall level of the ICSE Chemistry paper was moderate. Students with basic preparations could attempt 60 percent of the questions easily. Further, it is reported that the question paper was on the same pattern as described in the specimen paper. Further students found the paper ‘balanced’ as almost all questions were from the prescribed syllabus/ units.
It is reported from candidates that the questions based on Mole Concept and Acib-Base topics were comparatively easier than of Electrolysis and Periodic Table topics. A couple of questions were also asked from Chemical Bonding and Analytical Chemistry.

ICSE Chemistry Science (Paper 2) Analysis:
It is reported that a total of 40 questions were asked in the semester 1 paper. Marks of each question were represented in front of the question. Students had to attempt all questions in a time duration of one hour (inclusive of reading time. All questions were compulsory to attempt by the students. In Science Paper 2 (Chemistry) the maximum marks are 40 and there is no negative marking for the wrong answer/s in the paper.
In the Chemistry paper, questions were asked from 6 units- Periodic Table, Properties and Variations of Properties, Chemical Bonding, Study of Acids, Bases & Salts, Analytical Chemistry, Electrolysis, Mole Concept & Stoichiometry.
Ahead of the display of the official answer key, online educators like Master Mind, Vedantu 9 & 10, Tuition ICSE Online, ICSE Help, etc., are expected to provide the paper analysis and unofficial solutions of today’s Chemistry semester 1 exam. Hence, students have to keep a regular check on the website.
ICSE (Class 10) official answer key, however, will be displayed by the council on its website – cisce.org. It is reminded that the key will be released only after the semester 1 examinations are over.
