The Council for Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (CICSE) on Monday, December 06 conducts Class 10th Maths Semester 1 paper. The exam is held following the council’s guidelines successfully at all the exam centres. As per schedule, the ICSE or Class 10 paper began at sharp 11:00 AM and lasted at 12:30 PM with a 90 minutes duration. Students who appear for the examination now can check the ICSE Class 10 Maths paper, its analysis, and answer key as provided by the exam experts after the examination.
As per the media reports, ICSE Semester 1 Maths paper is held in the newly-prescribed format containing MCQs. Based on the media reports, the Class 10 first-semester exam was average in difficulty level. However, some of the questions were time taking. Most of the questions were from the syllabus prescribed for the first semester.
It should be noted that the official answer key of the ICSE Semester 1 will be released online at cisce.org. Hence, the candidates are advised to keep a check on the website for exam-related announcements.
ICSE Maths Paper 6 Dec Answer Key:
CISCE ICSE (Class 10) Maths paper for term 1 was held for 40 marks. Students were given time duration of 90 minutes to attempt all questions. The exam was divided into 3 sections. Each question had 4-options and students had to mark the correct response in the OMR sheet. All questions in the Maths exam were multiple choice types.
Similar to the ICSE Maths Specimen paper, a total of 25 questions were there in the paper. Questions were based on Linear Inequations, Quadratic Equations, Ratio and Proportion, Matrices, Factorisation of polynomials, Arithmetic Progression, Geometry (Similarities).
Based on the media reports, the pattern of the ICSE Maths question paper was similar to that of the specimen paper. Hence, a section of students calls the paper easy in difficulty.
