Gabrielle Union isn’t slowing down one bit in 2023. The actor and Flawless by Gabrielle Union cofounder continues to inspire and amaze us with her many hairstyles, each one better than the last. Her latest look is giving serious ’70s vibes thanks to a braided headband detail paired with big, voluminous Diana Ross-esque curls.
Union was snapped out and about in New York City after an appearance on CBS Mornings on January 25 in a ’90s-inspired ensemble of a light wash denim maxi skirt and long cardigan sweater worn open at the midriff. She paired the simple but statement-making outfit with fluffed-out curls all the way down her back for an equally effortless cool reminiscent of Ross’s signature hairstyle.
Her hair was pushed back from her face and held in place with a braided headband that matched her hair color almost exactly, adding more interest and texture to the style; the headband manages to feel both retro and modern at the same time, which is no small feat! Despite the early morning wake-up call, Union was ready for action with glowing skin, smoked-out liner, and big lashes plus her trademark megawatt smile.
