If You Missed the Brit Awards, Don’t Miss Lizzo’s Swoopy Bob and Massive Feather Clam Shell

Looking for some last-minute Valentine’s Day beauty inspo? It’s Lizzo to the rescue! The musician was oh-so-pretty in pink at the 2023 Brit Awards, where she hit the stage looking like a cotton candy pastel dream come to life.

Lizzo, who performed at the awards show, wore a glamorous pale pink custom ACT N°1 gown with a high slit and massive feathery clam shell detail that swooped over her shoulders and framed her head and neck in fluffy pink prettiness. The star’s glam team used the outfit as inspiration for her hair and makeup, with hairstylist Shelby Swain styling Lizzo’s hair into a shiny and sleek swooped bob with a ’60s feel thanks to a boost of volume at the crown and flipped-out ends befitting the Supremes.

Makeup artist Alexx Mayo incorporated similar pastel hues into her eye shadow and blush. According to Mayo’s Instagram breakdown of Lizzo’s look, he used Charlotte Tilbury’s soon-to-be-released Hypnotising Pop Shots eye shadow in Pillow Talk Ultra Violet on Lizzo’s lids for a dreamy but vibrant violet pop of color and the Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Dream Pop, a bright strawberry pink, on her cheeks. A cat eye was the perfect balance of retro and modern, as was the star’s rosy French manicure by artist Eri Ishizu using Essie products.
