I’m a Celeb pay packets REVEALED as tensions flare

The salaries of the stars from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Have been revealed.

Although they are competing in the South African jungle to win $100,000 for their chosen charity, some of them are also picking up a handy salary.

The stars are making between $35,000 and $180,000 for their time on the show, according to Daily Mail Australia.

Australian TV icon Kerri-Anne Kennerley is taking home the highest salary of $180,000, an industry source said, according to the publication.

Former The Project host and comedian Peter Helliar is reportedly pocketing half that of Kennerley, although a cool $90,000 is certainly nothing to sneeze at.

Coming in at number three is former Australian Idol judge Ian Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson, on a tidy $80,000.

Lastly, Geordie Shore’s Nathan Henry is set to earn $35,000.

The show is already off to a fiery start, with tears flowing on Tuesday night’s episode.

Domenica Calarco was in tears after a tense clash with her campmate Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson.

Calarco, who already butted heads with Dicko when trying to light a campfire, expressed her frustration at the fact that Kennerley was the only one allowed to bring makeup into the jungle.

“Why does she think it’s okay that she gets makeup and no one else gets skincare and makeup?”, Calarco said.

“I feel as though there’s a power imbalance there, and that’s just my opinion.”

While some campmates agreed Calarco should confront Kennerley, others said it was inappropriate.

“It’s a valid question Dom,” Dicko said.

“Why don’t you try and find a way to capture that in a way that’s not overly combative and disrespectful.”

But after going back and forth with Dicko, who called Calarco’s behaviour “childish”, she stormed off.

“Well, that went well,” Dicko said. Calarco replied, “F**k off”.
