I’m a flight attendant – passengers do the most annoying thing before take off

A FLIGHT attendant has revealed the worst thing passengers do on planes that irritates cabin staff.

Chris Kellum, who works on a budget US airline, took to TikTok to vent his anger over the classic case of passengers bringing over-sized luggage onboard.

Performing the beginning flight announcement, Chris tells passengers over the speaker that: “if you place a larger bag in the overhead bin we ask that you make sure it closes before you take your seat.”

Along with his cabin crew pal, they can re-enact the all too common sequence of events that sincerely frustrate them even before the plane takes off.

The stewardess then pretends to be a frustrating flyer who shoves a way too large bag in the locker and leaves it dangling half out.

“Mam is this your bag in the overhead bin?” he asks.

Acting coy, the woman responds: “Which bag are you talking about?”

He calmly tells her: “the overhead bin is not closing, so unfortunately it doesn’t fit and we’re gonna have to check your bag in.”

She then imitates a likely familiar line used by customers saying: “I don’t get it, the bag fit last time.

“How come it didn’t fit today? What happened the bag got smaller?”

The revelation comes as a pilot has pleaded with passengers to make themselves less annoying during flights by not making simple mistakes.

Emirates wingman Yusri Abu Bakar provided some hot travel tips, to let them know how to make their air stewards’ lives much easier in the future.

These included putting your seatbelt over your blanket while in the air and asking for everything you need at once to reduce the number of trips that cabin crew have to make.

Meanwhile, another pilot has exposed the secret phrase that means you’re in for a rough flight.

Former pilot John Greaves explained that if you ever hear a pilot telling cabin crew to sit down, it’s a sure sign there’s turbulence ahead.

Dave Wallsworth, who goes by Captain Dave on Twitter, has worked for British Airways for more than 30 years.

He responded: “Bad to me is when we have to get passengers to sit down and fasten their belts.

“Really bad is when we have to get the crew to do the same.”
