At the end of Day 3, India are ahead by 209 runs as West Indies have put 229 for 5 in reply to India’s 438 runs in the first innings. But it was a rain-marred day as the heavens opened at regular intervals, causing a halt to the proceedings.

Only 67 overs could be bowled yesterday (Day 3) and India will be hoping to bowl as many overs as they can on the penultimate day of the match.

As India prepare to seal the series 2-0, weather can play a huge part in the outcome of this Test match. India will fancy a victory if they can utilize the full quota of overs in the next couple of days, but will the weather be on their side?

India vs West Indies 2nd Test Day 4: Port of Spain Weather Update

Here we take a look at the weather for Day 4 of the 2nd Test at the Queen’s Park Oval-

The temperature of Port of Spain on Sunday (July 23) will be around 33º C and will cool down to around 26° C at night. The sky is set to be partly cloudy and a wind of around 30 km/h can blow along the day.

As a matter of concern for India, there is a 77 % chance of precipitation in Port of Spain on Sunday according to Accuweather.

There is also around 20% chance of thunderstorms, while around 2 hours of the day can have rain, which may be of around 2.9 mm. It means we may lose a significant amount of overs again on Sunday. Rain can definitely play spoilsport and this won’t be ideal for the visitors.
