However, there is a way which can help Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid felicitate the inclusion of both the wicketkeeper-batters in the eleven. A big surprise in the form of Suryakumar Yadav, the number one ranked T20I batter in the world, will have to be made.

Suryakumar has failed to make any kind of impact in his ODI career which has seen him score 433 runs in 23 matches at an average of 24.05. The 32-year-old has managed just two fifties in the 50-over format for India. He has got out for a duck in each of his last three ODI innings.
On the other hand, Ishan Kishan is well aware of the conditions in West Indies after featuring in both the Test matches. He has also shown a good run in ODI format by scoring 510 runs in 14 matches at an average of 42.50.
The southpaw has three fifties and a hundred to his name in the format. In only his 10th ODI match, Kishan scripted the record for fastest ODI double hundred by a batter. The inclusion of Kishan also brings a left-hand batting option in right-hand heavy India batting line-up.
Further, Sanju Samson deserves a chance ahead of Suryakumar in the lead up to the World Cup. Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul are on their road to recovery and India desperately need a quality middle-order batter who can emerge as a match-winner on his own.
There are no questions over the talent and potential of Suryakumar but he hasn’t grabbed the several opportunities thrown at him. Samson, who averages 66 and has scored of 36, 2*, 30*, 86*, 15 and 43*, also deserves a fair shot to throw his hat in the ring for selection in India’s ODI World Cup squad.
