India A Vs Bangladesh A: Emerging Asia Cup: India A beat Bangladesh A by 51 runs, face Pakistan A in final | Cricket News – Times of India
NEW DELHI: India A set up a potentially high-voltage Emerging Asia Cup title clash against Pakistan A after defeating Bangladesh A by 51 runs in the semifinals in Colombo on Friday.

Despite facing a challenging situation with Bangladesh’s bowlers dominating, India managed to reach a total of 211, largely thanks to captain Yash Dhull‘s impressive innings of 66 off 85 balls.

However, it was India’s spinners who turned the game around on a slightly tacky pitch. They bowled exceptionally well, dismissing Bangladesh for just 160 to seal a convincing victory.
Left-arm spinner Nishant Sindhu played a crucial role, taking an outstanding five-wicket haul (5 for 20) to accentuate Bangladesh’s fall.
The standout player of the match was India’s captain Yash Dhull. At just 20 years old, Dhull displayed remarkable maturity in his approach.
Coming to the crease when India was struggling at 75 for 2 in the 19th over, Dhull skillfully handled Bangladesh’s disciplined bowling attack, which had kept Indian batters in check.
With most of the Indian batsmen unable to accelerate the scoring, the responsibility of guiding the innings fell on Dhull’s shoulders. He played with composure and determination, batting for 30 overs in the match and being the last man to be dismissed in the 50th over.
Dhull’s partnership with Manav Suther, adding 41 runs for the eighth wicket, played a crucial role in pushing India’s total beyond the 200-run mark, which proved to be a competitive score in the end.

Although Bangladesh A made a strong start in their chase with openers Tanzid Hasan (51) and Mohammad Naim (38) scoring at a brisk pace, India’s bowlers bounced back to restrict them and secure their place in the final against Pakistan A.
Bangladesh reached 70 in a little over 11 overs. But once the ball began to lose the shine and hardness, Indian spinners brought their team back into the match.
Left-arm spinner Suthar evicted Naim and that kicked off a procession of Bangladesh batsmen back to the pavilion.
They lost the rest of the nine wickets for 90 runs to complete a spectacular implosion as Sindhu weaved his magic.
Earlier, Pakistan A defeated Sri Lanka A by 60 runs in the first semifinal to enter the summit clash.
