NEW DELHI: India dished out an all-round performance to outclass Sri Lanka in all aspects of the game to seal a massive 91-run win in the third and the last T20I in Rajkot on Saturday.
With this win India clinched the three-match series 2-1 and kept their record of winning every bilateral T20I series against Sri Lanka intact.
India also extended their bilateral T20I series winning streak at home to 12. India last lost a bilateral T20I series at home against Australia in 2019.

The victory against Sri Lanka also helped India draw level with England in the list of most wins against a single opponent in T20Is. India recorded their 19th victory over Lanka in 29 matches whereas England also have 19 wins (one win in Super Over) under their belt in the same number of matches against Pakistan.
Pakistan feature third on the list with 18 victories in 29 games followed by India’s 17 wins in 25 matches against the West Indies.
On the match front, Suryakumar Yadav, the top-ranked batsman in T20s, made 112 not out, hitting seven fours and nine sixes in his 51-ball display as India set Sri Lanka a target of 229 after electing to bat first.
In the process, Surya also became the first player to hit three T20I centuries outside the opening slot.
In response, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 137 as Arshdeep Singh bagged three wickets, while Hardik Pandya, Umran Malik and Yuzvendra Chahal took two wickets each.
