INDvsWI 2023 ODIs: No Arshdeep Singh in Indian ODI side
Left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh – who is a regular feature in the T20Is – has been ignored by the selectors in the ODIs. It comes as a surprise because Jaydev Unadkat is the only left-arm pacer for the West Indies ODI series. Who would you rather have in your World Cup team this year- Arshdeep or Jaydev?

INDvsWI Test Series 2023: Cheteshwar Pujara’s Career Over?
Cheteshwar Pujara has been at the receiving end after his performance in the WTC Final. He has been dropped from WI tour as well. Does that mean it is the end of the road for Pujara? Veteran commentator Harsha Bhogle begs to differ.
It has been a fabulous career, he was at the heart of the two great series wins in Australia in 2018/21, but I am not writing a Pujara obit yet. We almost wrote one for Rahane and he was India’s best batter in the WTC final. And is now the vice-captain. But yes, the Pujara…

IND vs WI: Squad Announcement Updates
Team India will play two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is against West Indies in the Caribbean to begin a new season. Rohit Sharma – the all-format India captain – is going to be the leader of the pack in at least Tests and ODIs.
Team India are unbeaten in the last decade in the Test series in the Caribbean, and they’ll be eager to maintain their dominant streak there. However, it will be interesting to see if the selectors will include some fresh faces on the side as India will have to prepare a team keeping the next WTC final, which is two years from now, in mind.
Rohit Sharma – who is captaining the Indian side across all three formats – has also been under scrutiny in the Test format after his dismal show with the bat and for his captaincy against Australia in the WTC Final, which India lost badly.
Cheteshwar Pujara’s form also remains a concern and many believe that the Saurashtra batter might not be included in the Test squad as he hasn’t been able to make a mark on the overseas tours. There have been voices to give opportunity to those waiting in the wings.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad are front runners to get included in the Indian side for West Indies tour. Some young bowlers are also in the race and all eyes will be on the bowling attack the selectors are going to pick for the WI tour.
