The apex body of Indian cricket has announced the schedule for the men’s team for the upcoming home season as Rohit Sharma and his troops are set for a busy period.
India will play a total of 16 international matches, comprising 5 Tests, 3 ODIs and 8 T20Is on either side of the ICC ODI World Cup, which is set to start from October 5 in India.
Australia, England and Afghanistan will visit the Indian team in this period and the Aussies are the only side who will take on the Indian team in either side of the World Cup, playing ODI and T20I series respectively.
Afghanistan will come to India to kickstart India’s 2024 calendar year as the Men in Blue will play a three-match T20I series against them.
England will be in India for a five-match Test series which will start on January 25 next year.
