Notorious vegan activist Tash Peterson is celebrating one year of sobriety by soaking up the sun at one of WA’s beautiful beaches.
The Perth-raised protestor, who turned 29 on Monday, shared bikini-clad photos to her social media accounts, also recognising the whopping 5 years and 9 months she has been vegan.
“Today I am 29 years old, 365 days sober and 5 years 9 months vegan,” Peterson captioned the post.
Supporters and fellow vegans took to the comments to wish her a happy birthday and thank her for the work she does for the plant-based community.
“Happy birthday and thanks for so bravely speaking up for the animals who are hidden away, suffering and dying,” one user commented.
Peterson’s latest controversial protest was staged outside Ascot Racecourse on Melbourne Cup day as punters flocked to watch the race that stops the nation.
In a video posted to her Facebook page, Ms Peterson walked up to the racecourse grandstand gate and began pouring blood on the footpath.
The militant vegan chanted remarks including, “Horse racing kills”, “Their blood is on your hands” and “You bet they die”.
The OnlyFans proponent made her latest appearance in Perth Magistrates Court to face charges arising out of her protest at the Perth Royal Show on September 26.
However, unlike usual she slipped in and out of the courtroom without attracting the wave of attention she usually draws with her often topless stunts.
