Jimmy Choo’s chic new Choo Café has popped-up in London’s Harrods for a three-month residency.
Harrods’ fifth floor, 42,000-square-foot Shoe Heaven is a dream for fashion lovers, and now, there’s a chic new spot to kick up your heels. Jimmy Choo’s Choo Café is the latest addition to the divine space, offering teas, coffees and stylish nibbles—all served on gold-accented, branded crockery.
Outfitted in Jimmy Choo’s signature fuschia, the high-glam design takes inspiration from the label’s latest handbag line, the Varenne Avenue Collection, launching this autumn, and features pops of gold, Art Deco nods and plush pink carpeting.
Harrods, which dates back to 1834, has been expanding their food and drink offering with nearly 30 venues currently onsite and more on the way, including a just-opened champagne bar by Moët & Chandon, located on the department store’s ground floor.
Crafted by Harrods’ in-house culinary team, the cuisine at the new Choo Café is focused on fresh, British summertime favorites—like fresh berries and picnic sandwiches—but with an upscale, designer twist. On the sweet side, expect treats like strawberry eclairs, raspberry croissants, and pink champagne and summer berry jelly. And for savory bites, there is a small selection of sandwiches filled with roasted vegetables or cured meats, as well as open-faced choux crostinis to choose from. It goes without saying that it’s all very Instagramable.
Jimmy Choo’s famed footwear already has a prominent presence in Harrods’ Shoe Heaven, which was designed by David Collins Studio and includes around 50 of the world’s most desireable footwear brands.
Choo Café is open from the 5th of July until the 30th of September, from 10am to 8pm Monday through Saturday and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays.
