A NEW Ninja Warrior water park has opened up and it is only 40 minutes away from Edinburgh.
The new outdoor obstacle course opened this year and is offering a full range of wild activities.
Foxlake Adventures in Dunbar, East Lothian, made the latest addition to their range of activities.
And for those wanting something really exciting, they can try out the brand new Aqua Park.
It is a full Ninja Warrior-style course and is described as a “giant floating playground”.
Groups will dash around the aqua park with a range of 20 inflatable obstacles.
It includes a Ninja-Jump, Dragon Tail and Temple along with our epic 3.8m inflatable tower; Mount Rainier and 2m Mount Baker.
They will cross balance beams and will get to climb the 3.8m Mount Rainer inflatable tower and splash into the water on the 2m high water slides and Ninja Jump.
And young footballers at Gullane FC got to try out the new aqua park before it opens up to the public.
Punters can go along and try everything from wakeboarding to offroad trails.
It is Scotland’s first cable wakeboarding park and will have you gliding over the water as you are pulled by an overhead cable.
They also have Foxfall, the UK’s first ever ropes course over water.
Guests will try and make their way across the course and keep their balance without plunging into the drink.
Anyone trying to tackle Foxfall will face the giant Spider’s Web, go over a Climbing Wall, cross the Burma Bridge, get past the Flying Wakeboards or balance on Sliding Fenders.
It then finishes with a zip line right into the water.
And for those who prefer to stay on dry land, they can enjoy an offroad trail – on a SEGWAY.
Punters will be able to explore some of East Lothian’s most scenic spots on the offroad two-wheelers.
They also offer open water swimming, a sauna, cold plunge and the chance to tear down the open water on an inflatable ringo.
James Barbour, Director of Foxlake Adventures, said: “Huge thanks to everyone including the brilliant team at Foxlake Adventures and all of the contractors who worked so hard on the Aqua Park project to help deliver it two months ahead of schedule and to the young footballers at Gullane FC who rose to the challenge to test it out ahead of the opening tomorrow.
“It was great to see the daredevils test their balance, agility, speed and endurance as they made their way around the Aqua Park, tackling all the obstacles including the Ninja-Jump and Mount Rainer slide, which seemed to be their favourite!
“Thanks also to Arlene from Forth One for dropping in too and helping us to officially declare it open.
“It’s a fantastic addition to the action-packed activities we have at Foxlake Adventures, including wakeboarding, Ringo Rides, FoxFall and our Segways – making for an even bigger action-packed fun day out.”
