Last week, it was reported that 76ers star James Harden exercised his player option for the 2023-24 season under the belief that he would be traded this summer. While that may happen, it appears he’s still on great terms with Philly’s ownership group.

On Tuesday, a photo of Harden talking to 76ers owner Josh Harris surfaced on Twitter.

Harden and Harris were at Michael Rubin’s party in the Hamptons. It takes place every year around the Fourth of July.

Here’s the photo of Harden and Harris that’s going viral:

This photo has NBA fans wondering if Harden will stay in Philadelphia for at least one more season.

Harden is set to make $35.6 million for the 2023-24 season, regardless if he’s on the 76ers or not.

Though the 76ers seem willing to shuffled around their roster, they may not want to get rid of Harden for absolutely nothing. After all, we’re talking about a player who averaged 21.0 points, 10.7 assists and 6.1 rebounds per game this past season.
