BEER NAME?
Into The Sun Australian hazy pale ale
WHERE’S IT FROM?
A collaboration between Perth’s Bright Tank Brewing Co, Melbourne’s Bonehead Brewing Co and Perth beerstragrammer Daniel Rootman.
WHAT’S SO SPECIAL ABOUT IT?
The second version of the collaboration has just been released with a slight tweak to last year’s original, Trading Places, which was a big success.
Pouring a glowing golden apricot, Into The Sun is bursting with tropical fruit aromas and flavours courtesy of the galaxy and eclipse hop-laced recipe.
A hint of lime zest cuts through the dominant passionfruit and mango flavours.
Despite being entirely opaque, Into The Sun is light on the palate and much more drinkable than heavier hazies.
There is only a light hint of bitterness late and you’re left with a delightfully smooth mouthfeel.
SHOULD I SHARE IT?
With a 5.5 per cent ABV, Into The Sun is a perfect hazy for summer and sharing with mates.
WHAT’S THE DAMAGE?
At just $17 for a four-pack from Bright Tank’s East Perth brewery it’s very affordable.
