Chennai Super Kings won the final to beat Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. They have now equalled the record of most IPL wins along with Mumbai Indians as both teams now have 5 titles each.

In this article, we are focusing on a unique kind of Team of the Tournament for IPL 2023. Generally, the team of the tournament consists of top players across a handful of teams. But in this team, we will incorporate one player from each team. CSK and GT, by virtue of being the finalists, will have the luxury to get two players and only one will have that according to the balance of the squad.

So, here we take a look at our unique IPL 2023 Team of the Tournament involving all 10 teams:

Shubman Gill IPL 2023 Performance

Shubman Gill becomes the representative for Gujarat Titans. The batter amassed 890 runs in the season and has been the highest run scorer. He also won the MVP award for his fantastic performance. Gill’s class and a new added power hitting makes him one of the most fearsome batters and the 23-year-old thus makes the list.

Yashasvi Jaiswal IPL 2023 Performance

Along with Gill, Rajasthan Royals’ Yashasvi Jaiswal will be the other opener. The 21-year-old has won the Emerging Player award as he amassed 625 runs in just 14 matches this season. The youngster demonstrated fearless cricket and showed a new level of power hitting at such a tender age.

Jaiswal’s aggressiveness makes him the perfect partner for Gill and together the young pair can cause mayhem, make no mistake.

Devon Conway IPL 2023 Performance

The CSK opener has been a revelation this season. Conway scored 672 runs this season at an average north of 50. He also became the 2nd highest run scorer in a season for CSK. The Kiwi batter played a decent knock in the Final as well and was adjudged Man of the Match.

He can come in at number 3 and provide the necessary stability if they lose an early wicket.

Heinrich Klaasen IPL 2023 Performance

In a disappointing season, Heinrich Klaasen was the sole bright spark for SRH. The South African looked a class apart as he scored the most runs for the franchise.

At no. 4, Klaasen’s ability to counter bowlers with hard hitting can be a massive weapon. He managed 448 runs for SRH this season in just 11 innings. He also scored his maiden IPL hundred and batted at a superb strike rate of 177.

Suryakumar Yadav IPL 2023 Performance

Suryakumar Yadav elevated his game midway this season and never looked back. Despite a slow start, the MI star scored runs galore in the latter half of the season.

He looked at his optimum best and played some outrageous shots. The MI player played some fantastic knocks and ended up scoring 605 runs in the season. SKY will be a perfect no. 5 for any team and his ability to turn on destruction mode at any time is the added impetus which makes him MI’s representative in the team.

Marcus Stoinis IPL 2023 Performance

Marcus Stoinis makes the squad as the LSG representative. The Australian had a terrific season with LSG this year, scoring 408 runs coupled with 5 wickets with the ball.

Stoinis is a player who can change the game in a matter of deliveries – which makes him such a dangerous player in this format. He scored with a strike rate of 150 this season and played some pivotal knocks for LSG.

Rinku Singh IPL 2023 Performance

In yet another underwhelming year, Kolkata Knight Riders will take some heart courtesy of Rinku Singh.

The gritty southpaw from Aligarh showcased batting of different level this season and has emerged as one of the top middle-order batters. His indomitable spirit and never say die attitude won KKR a couple of matches.

His 5 sixes in 5 balls of GT’s Yash Dayal is one of the all-time greatest moments in IPL’s history, and Rinku at no. 7 will be a luxury for any side. The southpaw scored 474 runs this season at a fantastic average of 59, and repeatedly proved his credentials as a finisher.

Axar Patel IPL 2023 Performance

Our pick from Delhi Capitals is Axar Patel, who had a decent season amid all the adversity at Delhi Capitals.

Axar scored 283 runs with the bat, and picked up 11 wickets with the ball, easily making himself the player of the season for DC. The Indian international’s multifaceted ability makes him an asset and our team can use him at no. 7 and as the fifth bowler.

Rashid Khan IPL 2023 Performance

Rashid Khan (Captain): GT get the extra player in the team of the tournament. The brilliance of Rashid Khan has been synonymous with the Titans’ success, and it was the same this season as well.

Rashid picked up 27 wickets this season, second highest after his GT teammate Mohammed Shami (28). But the added security of his batting promotes the Afghan’s value many folds. His inning against Mumbai Indians this season was a treat to watch, and so was his ability to roar back from adverse situations.

Mohammed Siraj IPL 2023 Performance

RCB pacer Mohammed Siraj has grown in stature over the last couple of years. But we saw the best of ‘Miyaan’ in this IPL season.

Siraj bowled with intensity and yielded fantastic results for RCB. The pacer picked up 19 wickets in the season and often provided early breakthroughs. His ability to get wickets in the powerplay enhances the importance which makes Siraj the RCB representative in the team.

Arshdeep Singh IPL 2023 Performance

PBKS pacer Arshdeep Singh completes our team of the tournament. The left-arm pacer had another impressive outing in a dismal season for Punjab.

The youngster picked up 17 wickets and regularly rattled the stumps. His ability to execute at death is a massive commodity, which makes Arshdeep find a place as the PBKS representative.
