LSG vs SRH: 4 Players Who Can Score Most Runs in The Match
Here are the names who may top the run-scoring chart at the end of the match between the two sides on Friday (April 7)-
KL Rahul (LSG): If we consider the law of averages, KL Rahul is supposed to score a big chunk tomorrow. The Indian batter has struggled in the first two matches, and would be eyeing to play with authority against SRH.
Rahul has a decent record against their Friday opponents as the former PBKS player has 393 runs against SRH, at a decent average of just below 40. That can play a big part in restoring his form and confidence.
Mayank Agarwal (SRH): Mayank Agarwal was a big buy for SRH in the auction and he will be their glue at the top of the order. Agarwal scored 27 runs in the first match and was the second-highest scorer for them in the defeat against RR.
A player with class and immense quality, the 32-year-old will be keen to repay the faith SRH showed to him at the auction table. Hence a big score looks like coming, and today can be the day.
Deepak Hooda (LSG): Deepak Hooda has been poor so far for LSG. The effervescent batter has only managed 19 runs in the first two matches and hasn’t looked in touch at all.
He is a much more confident and attacking batter who relies on timing and sometimes brute force. Hooda needs to buckle up and get his form back as their lineup has looked over-dependent on Kyle Mayers and Nicholas Pooran. A decent knock against SRH will be the perfect aid for him and his team.
Aiden Markram (SRH): Sunrisers’ captain will be taking on the field for the first time this season on Friday. Markram is coming on the back of a fantastic 175 that he scored against the Netherlands in the last match.
He has been in blistering form as the South African has amassed 614 runs in his last 10 innings across all formats, with an average of 76.75, which consists of 2 centuries and 2 fifties. It will be a big ask of him to come and start scoring straightway, but if anyone can do it in the SRH squad, it is their captain.
