Ravi Bishnoi completed a fantastic spell against SRH on Friday in a tricky Lucknow pitch. The deck at the Ekana Stadium had a lot of assistance for the spinners, and Bishnoi pulled off his third consecutive decent spell in this IPL season.
Bishnoi finished off with figures 1/16 in his 4 overs, being the most economical bowler among all the LSG bowlers. He also picked up the prized wicket of SRH batter Harry Brook, whom they bought for INR 13.25 crore in the previous auction.
With the wicket, Ravi Bishnoi has become the top Indian wicket-taker in this IPL season so far. He picked up his 6th wicket of the season and surpassed four Indian bowlers to claim the top spot among Indian bowlers.
Bishnoi’s fellow teammate Mark Wood is currently the Purple Cap holder with 8 wickets in just two matches. Bishnoi has been outstanding in this IPL season so far, as the leg-spinner showed his wicket-taking prowess in the first two matches as well.
The 22-year-old picked up three wickets (3/28) against Chennai Super Kings and two wickets (2/31) against Delhi Capitals in the last two matches.
