The
IPL
Fan
Park
is
a
match
screening
event
which
provides
live
streaming
of
IPL
matches
and
other
fun
and
entertainment
activities.
It
used
to
take
place
at
the
weekends
during
the
IPL
in
the
previous
seasons.
It
was
a
programme
that
was
launched
in
2015
and
continued
till
2019.
The
COVID-19
pandemic
put
a
halt
to
the
fan
parks,
but
it
is
finally
set
to
return
this
year.
The
IPL
has
announced
the
return
of
Fan
Parks
on
Thursday.
And
this
year,
the
fan
park
will
be
touching
20
Indian
states,
2
Union
Territories
–
with
45
cities
across
these
states
and
UTs
are
set
to
get
a
taste
of
the
IPL
fan
extravaganza.
The
first
fan
park
will
be
hosted
in
Madurai
(Tamil
Nadu)
on
the
very
first
day
of
the
IPL
2023.
“The
TATA
IPL
Fan
Parks
will
be
spread
across
45
cities
–
Surat,
Madurai,
Kota,
Hubli,
Dehradun
to
name
a
few
–
and
over
20
States
and
2
Union
Territories
this
season.
It
promises
to
offer
an
exciting
and
entertaining
community-viewing
experience
for
the
cricket
fans
across
various
regions
of
the
country.
Every
weekend
–
throughout
the
duration
of
the
tournament
–
there
will
be
five
fan
parks,”
a
statement
from
IPL’s
official
website
read.
Chennai
Super
Kings
are
taking
on
Gujarat
Titans
on
Friday
(March
31)
and
the
first
Fan
Park
will
be
held
in
Madurai
from
Friday
onwards.
The
fan
parks
will
be
changing
cities
with
each
week
and
there
will
be
as
many
as
5
fan
parks
on
the
day
of
the
Final
(May
28).
