2018: Shane Watson (CSK, 2018): 117* runs off 57 balls

Batting first, SRH got off to a flyer vs CSK, thanks to skipper Williamson and Pathan and later a blitz by Carlos Brathwaite which took SRH to 178. In reply, CSK had a slow start as Watson took 10 balls to get off the mark. But once he got into the groove, he destroyed the SRH bowling line-up and went on to score a match-winning century in the final. Thanks to Watson’s brilliant century, CSK made an empathic comeback to the IPL by winning the title for the 3rd time. Watson was adjudged Man of the Match for his 117* off 57, which included 11 fours and 8 sixes.
