But now, the 56-year-old slugger who went from juvenile delinquent to pugilistic fame appears to be slowing down and squaring off against a number of health issues.

The champ was photographed in a wheelchair on Monday at Miami International Airport. The New York Post reports that Tyson has been dealing with back issues, specifically a “sciatica flare-up.”

Tyson was helped by an airport employee. In New York last month, Tyson was moving around like the Iron Mike of old, the Post said.

Still, the legendary fighter posed for selfies with fans from the wheelchair. He was carrying a large walking stick in his lap, the Post reported.

TMZ reported that Tyson’s ailments were “nothing serious. Just an occupational hazard for an athlete like Mike.”

In recent days, Tyson has become philosophical, musing that he believes his “expiration date” will be sooner rather than later.

“We’re all gonna die one day of course,” Tyson said on his popular Hotboxin’ podcast. “Then, when I look in the mirror, I see those little spots on my face, I say, ‘Wow. That means my expiration date is coming close, really soon.’ ”

On the July 13 episode, Tyson’s guest was his therapist, Sean McFarland, a specialist in trauma and addiction.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn-born fighter offered some advice to UFC slugger Conor McGregor on how to deal with the pressure of fame.

“Conor has to look inside himself and (ask), ‘What happened? Why am I the way I am? We don’t know how to handle this stuff. We got millions of dollars. We never had this. Our families never had this. We’ve never been around this life, ” Tyson told ESPN.

“All of a sudden you start fighting, doing something you love to do, and you do it easily, and all of a sudden they give you a lot of money for doing it. You give it away, you buy people gifts that don’t deserve gifts. You just don’t know what to do with it, you feel you don’t deserve it.”
