Is Kim Kardashian’s Honey Blonde Hair the Sign of a New Era?

0

We’re calling it now: A new era of Kim Kardashian is on the horizon. The reality star and entrepreneur is finished with her platinum blonde hair — or so it appears — and back to a fan-favorite shade that could be a hint at a broader new look to come.

Kardashian ditched the white blonde, which she’d been loyal to since the 2022 Met Gala, in favor of a warm honey blonde hue created by her longtime stylist Chris Appleton. Kardashian debuted the fresh color in Miami at Art Basel this weekend, but it wasn’t just her hair color that looked different; her wardrobe did too. Appleton shared the transformation first, posting a pic of Kardashian in a bright blue cropped vintage Björk tee and leather pants — quite a departure from the catsuits of yore. Since that initial post, Kardashian has worn several similar ‘fits, which has us thinking that a sportier style is coming for Kim. (Maybe she’s taking inspiration from her sister Khloé, who happens to be caramel blonde as well at the moment.) It’s also worth noting that after a year-long working relationship with Balenciaga — and many photo opportunities in the brand’s sleek, monochromatic styles — Kardashian announced late last month that she was “re-evaluating” that relationship following the controversy over their recent ad campaign.
