Actress Sonali Bendre is all set to make her OTT debut with web series The Broken News. She is making a comeback in acting after a hiatus of nine years. There have been reports that the actress will be joining RRR actor Jr NTR in his next directed by Koratala Siva. In an interview, Sonali rubbished the rumours of starring in Jr NTR’s film. Read on to know what she has said.
When Sonali was asked about the reports, she told Koimoi, “Who, me? No, I don’t know, please tell me about it. I have no clue what you are talking about”. She added, “No listen, genuinely I am not. No I have no clue about this, so this is a fake news. Or if it is a news, it hasn’t reached me yet. This is sansani khez.”
When asked about the comeback, Sonali Bendre said that before she started shooting, she was nervous. “And you are nervous when you are excited, you are nervous when you are scared, you are nervous when you are starting something different. So all of that was part of my nervousness.”
She added, “You don’t know how it is going to be. And I think being nervous is good because it keeps you on your toes and you do better. So, I think it was good nervousness, but I was coming back after a long time, I have been through so much.”
For the unversed, Sonali was diagnosed was metastatic cancer in 2018 and she underwent treatment in New York for it. The actress defeated the Big C and returned to India with her family hale and hearty. In various interviews, Bendre had opened up about her cancer battle.
