Fact Check-

A Google Reverse Image Search on the viral image led us to the same image published on the AP Newsroom website. According to the information, the incident took place in the Koraput district of Odisha in 2013. This photo shows the scene after Maoist rebels bombed an Indian army vehicle. In this incident, 5 people died and 2 people were injured.

According to a Mumbai Mirror report of 2013, the incident took place when the army personnel were traveling from Odisha’s Malkangiri district to Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam. 4 army Jawans were killed and 2 were injured in this attack. According to the police, the attack was carried out by the Maoists in revenge after the death of their leader Madhav in a police encounter.

NewsX’s official YouTube channel reported on this incident in 2013. According to the report, the Naxal blew up a BSF convoy in the Koraput district of Odisha. There were 8 Jawans in the vehicle, 5 were killed and 2 were seriously injured. These BSF Jawans were going home for vacation. This happened on the road connecting Koraput and Andhra Pradesh.

Is there an attack by Naxals in Chhattisgarh?

According to a report by The Indian Express, 10 jawans of the District Guard Force were killed in a Maoist attack in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh while returning from a security operation. This incident took place around 50km away from the district headquarters. According to the police 40 to 50kg of explosives were used in the attack.

Conclusion:

Fact Crescendo found the claim to be misleading. Although there was a Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh, but the image that was shared is an old image from 2013 that took place in the Koraput district of Odisha.
