Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has conducted ISC Class 12 Psychology and Electricity & Electronics papers today, on December 14. The ISC question paper for Psychology carrying a maximum of 70 marks and Electricity & Electronics carrying 80 marks are held successfully for the registered students. Students who appear on December 14, 2021, held ISC or Class 12th Psychology or Electricity & Electronics papers may check the unofficial answer key.

The council conducted the ISC Psychology paper following the social distancing and COVID-19 guidelines. Based on the reports, ISC exams are held in the second sitting, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. The question paper along with the OMR sheet was disbursed among the students at 1:50 pm. The candidates were strictly instructed to follow the guidelines issued through the admit card.

Based on the feedback received from the students, the difficulty levels of the Psychology and Electonics paper were easy and average respectively. However, some of the questions were tricky. “The Psychology paper was on the same pattern as derived in the Specimen paper and was not much calculative”, a student told the team after the examination.

The council shall likely display the official answer key on its website i.e. cisce.org, only after the board exams are over. The answer keys for the ISC Psychology and Electricity & Electronics 1st semester papers will help candidates to get a rough idea of their performance and expected score in the exam.

ISC Class 12 Psychology Paper Analysis:

As per the proposed ISC Class 12 paper pattern, the maximum marks in Psychology (855) paper are 70. The paper was divided into 3 sections- Section A, B, and C. As many as 45 questions are asked in the examination. Questions are derived from the first 3 units. Rest 5 units to be covered in semester 2 exams. 

The ISC Class 12 Psychology question paper was conducted for a maximum of 70 marks. The paper consisted of questions based on Intelligence and Ability, Personality, and Lifespan Development.

ISC Class 12 Electricity & Electronics Paper Analysis:

The maximum marks in the Electricity & Electronics (866) paper are 80 divided into two semesters with 40 marks each. The paper was divided into 3 sections- Section A, B, and C. As many as 80 questions including subsections have been asked in the Electricity & Electronics paper. Questions are derived from the specified units for semester 1 exams.

In Semester 1 questions were asked from the following topics- 

  • Distribution of electric power, local power system
  • D.C. generator and motor
  • Shunt series and compound field connections, back e.m.f
  • A.C. motor, Methods of shunting: capacitance start, split phase.
  • Concept of electron flow, resistors, and capacitors, their types.
  • Diodes- Thermionic diode, semiconductor diode

Ahead of the display, candidates may go through the unofficial key, provided by different educators including Shoaib Alam, Tuition ICSE Online, on Youtube. Students may compare their answers with the solutions provided to get a rough idea of their marks. 

The paper analysis will be uploaded once the educators begin the same after getting the feedback from the students after 3:30 pm. Hence, the students are advised to keep a regular check at the website for announcements.
