In June, actor Alia Bhatt took everyone by surprise when she announced her pregnancy with Ranbir Kapoor. Apart from getting best wishes from friends and fans, the actor is also being appreciated for embracing motherhood at the peak of her career. The actor recently delivered a massive blockbuster in Gangubai Kathiawadi and then in RRR this year. Moreover, she even gained immense appreciation from fans for her role in Netflix’s film, Darlings.

Given the fact that Alia is on a roll, actor Isha Koppikar commends the mom-to-be for embracing motherhood at this point of her career. Talking about her pregnancy, the Krishna Cottage actor is delighted to hear the happy news as well as how the industry has changed its perspective towards actresses’ pregnancies after Alia Bhatt and others.

During an interview with ETimes, Isha said, “A lot has changed in this decade, and now the taboo around an actress’ motherhood has been lifted. We have many great inspirations who have proved that you can get your body back in shape after delivering a child.”

She further talked about the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actor and said, “I am delighted to hear that Alia Bhatt is embracing motherhood at this point of her career. It is basically her choice and we must respect that. Also, now, pregnancies among actresses are celebrated and not frowned upon, and that is the good news. I welcome this change as an actor.”

Despite being pregnant, Alia Bhatt is finishing off her work commitments and ensuring to promote her upcoming film, Brahmastra as far as possible with her husband Ranbir Kapoor. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra will be released on September 9.
