Ishaan Khatter takes Karan Johar’s class for drilling and grilling Ananya Pandey; says, ‘You were rather mean to her’ : Bollywood News – Bollywood Hungama

When filmmaker Karan Johar sat with Phone Bhoot’s star cast in the latest episode of Koffee With Karan, he managed to give lots of information about their personal life. From Katrina Kaif confessing that Vicky was never on her ‘radar’ to her Phone Bhoot co-stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter leaving us in splits; the episode was epic in its own kind.

However, the episode also shed some light on Ishaan Khatter’s love affair with his Khaali Peeli co-star Ananya Pandey. Interestingly, before Ishaan, Ananya had also graced the couch of the chat show this season. In the episode, Ananya confirmed that the duo was indeed in a relationship. 

The Kabhie Khushi Kabhi Gham director tried to get more details about Ananya and Ishaan’s breakup but in vain as the latter had a witty response for him. In the episode, Ishaan turned the table and scolded Johar for ‘being mean’ to Ananya.  Johar asked Ishaan, “So you broke up with Ananya recently…” Ishaan shot back, “Did I? You told Ananya that she broke up with me. I did watch that episode. You were rather mean to her. You were drilling and grilling…” 

Though the 50-year-old director-producer tried to defend himself, his failed attempts left Katrina Kaif gob-smacked. As the episode progressed further, Karan asked who broke up with whom, to which Ishaan replied, “How does it matter, who broke up with whom? I am single, that’s true.”

However, the Student of The Year 2 actor’s mentioned did not stop there. During the rapid-fire round, Ishaan was asked about the thing he missed most about his ex. In his response, he answered, “Everything. She is a sweetheart. But it’s for the better.”
